This was a band that had one album out in the late 80's called Silver and Gold. They were a progressive group that was the brainchild of Adrian Smith who others very likely know way more about as he was a guitarists and songwriter for Iron Maiden. I got this single for free in a grab bag (ten random c.d.s for a buck) and I liked it:

    Down the Wire

The track for the single has a real cool sound different than Iron Maiden Imo. Check it out:

    Down The Wire

This was the other solid tracks on that single:

    When She's Gone

The last song was an Iron Maiden cover from what I gather. I can't find the A.S.A.P. version on youtube though. Anyway, I like this band. It has a very eighties rock sound where you can picture it in an action movie of the time. I keep imagining it played during an action scene in one of Eddie Murphy's cop movies (Beverly Hills cop, 48 Hours)! :heheh: Tell me what you think and what you know of this band! :cheers2

They had some good stuff...another example of how musician's think...most can move around pretty well...he has a Maiden side and an Adrian side. :grinthumb

I always dug this tune. Kind of Eddie Money in places.

@ Metal-That was a really good song and on a side note I have to listen to some more Eddie Money! :grinthumb

@ Snakes and Ladders-Not a problem S & L! The second I saw the Maiden connection I knew it was going to be relevant to someone! :grinthumb
