1990 Metal: Painkiller vs Rust in Peace

Both albums came out in September of 1990 and I don't think I'd be going out on too much of a limb if I said that these might be the #1 and #2 metal albums of the year.

So.. Which of these two monster metal albums from 1990 do you prefer?

Rust In Peace. Every single song slays on that record as good as the Painkiller album is too.

Painkiller for me. Hell of a 'swan song' from the original Halford period. Possibly the hardest metal album that Priest ever did.

Was a good return to form for them after the Turbo/Ram it Down period.

Painkiller. Just 'cause Rob sings/screams better, than Dave.

I've always found the Rust In Peace title hilarious. That's all I have to say in this thread because I haven't listened to either album.

Two great albums, but I prefer "Painkiller" these days. I would probably have voted for "Rust In Peace" back in 90/91.
