Surprisingly (to me) some of Pat's early albums circa 1979-80 are quite 'guitar heavy' no doubt due to her husbands own guitar playing on her albums after he had played in Rick Derringer's band around 1978/79 in the USA
I didn’t know that about Rick Derringer. Cool. I love her first two albums and about half of Precious Time, but I checked out on anything else by her.

Aerosmith - Night In the Ruts came out that year. I'll defend this album to the end!!

Right there with you. This album is my go to when I crave Aero. It actually took a little longer than previous albums to grow on me, but man, if you're in need of some deep, crunchy in your face Aerosmith, start here, right?

I mean, come on... Three Mile Smile? Bone To Bone? Chiquita? No Surprize? These are no doubters, Aerosmith grinders.

But, my favorite cut on the is album, (and quite possibly my favorite Aerosmith song, period), is their cover of the Yardbirds' Think About It. They took a song that was kind of draggy and uninspired and gave it teeth.

I agree with everything you said here, and I'm with you on Think About it.
