Skid Row is/was the heavier band with more of a variety going from heavy a$s metal music straight to softer, emotional ballads such as "18 & Life." Even tossing those musical traits aside, Skid Row had the better singer by far. Period! Sebastian Bach is one of the best singers out there. He could really get it up there. Sebastian Bach showed both emotion & intensity in the heavy band known as Skid Row. "18 & Life" takes it here because it's a great song & even better because it's sung by the likes of him.

''Cherry Pie'' could be the BEST song of the hair band era.
