Definitely a legend, but I don't have a single album of his in the collection...not a massive blues fan but even I know he is revered by musicians worldwide.

Yeah, he was amazing! I thing he only recorded 29 songs over a two year period between 1936 and `37 and of course he passed away at 27 which is legend itself. If they play The Blues, they have covered one of his songs!

“At first the music almost repelled me, it was so intense, and this man made no attempt to sugarcoat what he was trying to say, or play. It was hard-core, more than anything I had ever heard. After a few listenings I realized that, on some level, I had found the master, and that following this man's example would be my life's work.”

I have that, it's awesome. He was a great musician and way, WAY ahead of his time.

Have only listened the BigHead Todd version of Crossroads and I really like it. They did a great job with that.

I'll listen to some of the other tunes in a bit. Thanks for this.
