4. Not sure what is meant by 'freestyle' here but Ascension by Coltrane is one of his most 'freestyle ' lps....

Well here's the definition of freestyle:
Electronic dance music genre that fuses melodic vocal styles found in 1970s disco and 1980s dance-pop with synth instrumentation of electro and hip hop.

So then by Jake T definition above....Coltrane and Crimson are not 'freestyle'..........they must be avant garde jazz and rock.
