sadly I noted whilst away that record producer of some note, Roy Thomas Baker passed away last month in Arizona,aged 78.
I particularly liked his studio work with Dokken,Queen, Alice Cooper,Ron Wood and Ian Hunter.
Dedicating this area to remembering his work and posting some fond memories and tracks from his huge production portfolio.

Roy took Lone Star to Denmark to cut their first album..Paul Chapman aka 'Tonka' (UFO) shreds his way thru this Beatles classic

Ronnie was obligated to do a run of four studio albums in five years...this was number 3,Roy Thomas Baker did a shit job nailing the drum sound on this [and it's Charlie Watts!]...but I love the riff and lyrics, ..circa'79.

Brilliant guitar work from Bill Nelson, Roy did a tight job on this album Futurama...reminding me of his early Decca years and nailing Ten Years After on a few albums!

Aynsley Dunbar was pals with Roy and got him on board to work the desk on 'Infinity'..which achieved good chart success.
