I hate The Beatles so my vote went straight to The Doors. Even after listening to it it still in my opinion doesn't have that aspect every song needs. A hard rock section.
There are way better bands then Nirvana. Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters and Black Sabbath just to name some. I honestly like Nirvana's music but it's too repetitive and sounds like they repeat words like there trademarks at times. As for KISS, they are overrated big time...
I doubt the classic rock 30 years in the future would actually sound like the stuff 30 years ago today.... Instead it will be a bunch of half assed attempts of trying to sound like a good band...

I will give the edge to Wheel in the Sky. It sounds smooth and flowing, it also has a great tone to it and it doesn't sound like a bunch of shouting like most rock of today does.
Saturday's Alright For Fighting. Can't beat the enthusiasm and smoothness of his voice. The lyrics are awesome and none of it seems off tune, it flows like butter.
