This what I first thought of when I saw this thread. Although on Springsteen's "Live in Dublin" version of this song is pretty cool UjCcPlAql6g

    The Worst Musical Decade?

MTV was bad for music....well at least Classic Rock. While overall it was good for Classic Rock artists like ZZ Top, J.Giels and others the damm videos made bands play less kick ass and more pop friendly.

    Powerful Live Performances

With that said, I think one of the most "powerful" and MOST IMPORTANT performances ever came from The Who in "The Concert for NY" This was shortly after the 9/11 World Trade Center disaster. The Who blew everyone away that night. Watch the joy on the faces of the first responders, those...

    Favorite Beatles' cover song

The Sound - great great call on Helter Skelter. With one of the great spoken word openings of all time ""This is a song Charles Manson stole from The Beatles. We're stealing it back."

    Favorite Beatles' cover song

Cheap Trick are big Beatles fans. They did a version of Magical Mystery Tour on their greatest hits Cd. They did the complete Sgt. Pepper live CD but my favorite of them is Day Tripper. 2PQm6vQsrgs

    Boston (Official Thread)

I remember the first time I heard Boston, it was on a Boston radio station and I was blown away. Just a great studio band. To bad Tom was so anal about getting more stuff out there. Boston the group died when Brad Delp died. Anything else is not the real thing. Before his death Brad Delp...
