    Great song lyrics

Rush has some really good songs. Here are the lyrics to 2112. I. Overture And the meek shall inherit the earth. II. The Temples of Syrinx ... the massive grey walls of the temples rise from the Heart of every federation city. I have always been awed By them, to think that every...

Best album of original work ever

I'm afraid I'm going to have to change my vote. Dark Side of the Moon is a good album, but I forgot how good Rush's 2112 is. Definately my favorite album.

    Your Top 10 Live Albums

I haven't heard many live albums (or seen many live DVDs), but Woodstock is one of the greatest live concerts of all time. I watched the Woodstock documentary on TV this weekend. Joe Cocker, Santana, and Jimi Hendrix were my favorites. Were any of you at Woodstock?

    Eric Clapton

Agreed. Great guitarist. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, he is the second greatest guitarist alive today (topped only by B.B. King himself). The best is of course Jimi Hendrix and the second is Duane Allman. He is the one that made me a true fan of classic rock.

Texas Flood isn't bad either. Pride and Joy and the title song are awesome. The man even makes Mary Had a Little Lamb work. Now that's talent.

    Great song lyrics

The lyrics to Bob Dylan's Knockin' on Heaven's Door are really great (in my opinion, his finest). They remind me that you never know when the end will come. Mama, take this badge off of me I can't use it anymore It's gettin' dark, too dark to see Feel I'm knockin' on heaven's door...

Best album of original work ever

I agree with you about Sgt. Pepper. My second favorite album. By the way, about the Wizard of Oz, I have tried it and it works quite well. You have to start the album on the third roar of the black-and-white MGM lion. This is very important, because on some versions of the video, they have...

Best album of original work ever

At first I was going to make this a poll, but then I realized that there are way to many great albums to list. My personal favorite would have to be Dark Side of the Moon. I find myself listening to the whole album almost every day. Every song runs together so well that it seems like the...

    Who's the Better Guitarist.......

Agreed. Vaughan is an awesome guitarist. He can play both hard rock and blues. An excelent example of this is his cover of Voodoo Child (Slight Return).

the all time best bassist of a rock band
