    Love Song Mix CD

Funny, the second I read your message, the opening line of "When a Man Loves A Woman" came on. "When a man loves a woman, can't keep his mind off nothing else" Anyways, my wording in my first post was kind of...bad. I'd say i'm extremely smitten, not in love (because I don't know what love...

    Love Song Mix CD

First off, was that "deaf dumb and blind" comment a reference to Tommy? Secondly, I wasn't completely honest in my first post. I'm making this into a playlist on my ipod to play in the car next time we are together. When we are in the car, the music is usually low, but we both kind of listen...

    Love Song Mix CD

So, I've kind of fallen for this girl that I've been hanging with nonstop for the past week or so. That said, she does have a boyfriend. Fortunately for me though, they have a 2+ hour distance between them, and a relationship that may or may not be struggling. PLEASE understand that I am NOT...

Re: Rate The Song Above You II ^Kind of a funky sound from Van Halen, it suprisingly works for them, though it isn't particularly my cup of tea. 7/10 Now how 'bout a little Brian May covering a Beatles song? brian may slow down.wmv - YouTube (Sorry about the link, i have no idea how to post...

    Favorite Album(s) of the 60's

It was really hard to narrow it down to 10, ranking those ten were even harder. I didn't get to put down any albums by the Doors, The Byrds, The Monkees, Smile, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Neil Young, etc. Sgt. Peppers isn't even my real favorite Beatles album, it's too hard to pick just one by my...

    Favorite Album(s) of the 60's

Hello everybody, i recently saw a post about the greatest albums of the 70's, so i thought we should start one for the 60's. So, what are your favorite albums of the 60's? I'll limit my list to 10 and i won't repeat any artists: 1.)Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band- The Beatles 2.)At...

ZZ Top stole the riff on La Grange from The Rolling Stones. Listen to Shake Your Hips off the album Exile On Main Street.

Pronounced was my first and favorite Skynyrd album, so it gets my vote. I'm not too big on ZZ Top

    Favorite Beatle?

I'd actually never heard of Dylan's inspiration for Nowhere Man, i always heard that John was having trouble writing a song for Rubber Soul, and it just sort of spawned out of a sort of self-evaluation.

Eddie Van Halen named "Greatest guitarist of all time" by Guitar World

I'm a huge Queen fan, but even i don't think Brian is the 2nd best ever. That said, Eddie is not even close to be being the best. Jimmy Page, SRV, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, the list goes on and on. People are shocked that Brians #2 but nobody is that shocked that EVH is #1?

    Favorite Beatle?

I remember reading about that a few years ago. I can't believe that when George was suffering so much he still put others in front of himself

    CRF Record Club

I was actually toying with the idea with each albums having their own thread for people to discuss on, but i really like the whole "make it it's own forum" idea. I you have any more ideas, i'd love to hear them.
