2012 is looking up to be a great year for thrash metal. Hell, metal in general. Especially with Overkill's recent release, and underground thrash metal band Lich King has a new(fourth) album coming out in, oh say, December. Best heavy metal band of the 80's
Well, this is going to be a hard one for me. There's Overkill, Megadeth, Exodus, Iron Maiden, and Metallica. But, by personal preference, I'd have to say a tie between Exodus and Overkill. eugh.- Sir Goatington The IV

Do you think, with time, 80s and 90s bands will be labeled "Classic Rock"?
Classic Rock is what is considered "Classic" during that time period, so yes, I do think that eventually, the 90s bands will be considered Classic Rock. There's many examples of this, such as in the 70s, the 50s and 60s had classics, then so on and so forth.- Sir Goatington The IV
