To extend the thread check out Dyin' Crapshooter's Blues (Blind Willie McTell and later Dave Bromberg more recently on You Tube ) great lyrics...Also As a bit of an old fogie and folkie I remember a song by Steeleye Span ..When I was on horseback which would fit with the earlier variants....- robpape

People are strange...
Nothing wrong with the Doors ...I was lucky enough to see them at the Isle of Wight Festival over here....One of my favourite tracks is Riders in THe Storm ....great on the Juke Box ...very atmospheric...- robpape
