Amazing Album. I was actually given the album (on CD) by the former bass player Dave Hope. I was young and my Mom would go drink with Dave since he lived only one neighborhood over in Destin Florida. Ironically, he has now become a preacher at one of the local churches. We'd play guitars and...
One way or the other, any era of rock n roll is still gonna be rock n roll whether or not they're singing about lollipops and unicorns or mommy's ambien. I personally don't celebrate depression so therefore i enjoy the lyrics (along with the "music") in the earlier decades. It's hard for me to...
No Groovy, I agree with EVERYTHING you just said. Atleast they were singing about the changes and not secluding themselves and saying i don't care about anything, I'll go cut myself. Very, very nicely put. :grinthumb
I don't know exactly where I'm going with this, but I'm just trying to throw some ideas out there on the table.

"Hey Ho, Let's Go!"
I'm sure there's a punk rock song out there somewhere that i would like better but i have never listened to too much punk rock. And this one will do for now!:D

I've never realized how hard it is to find a bass player.. :bonk:
I guess looping a bass over, and over, and over, will have to do for now. :cheers2
Any tips or constructive critisicm is great!
I've never heard this song by rainbow (nor any other song by this group.) It seems like he's singing about a man who was called to the circle as a sacrifice to the king. Once it is aware that he is truely commited enough to sacrifice his life for the king, the king pardons him of his death. IMO...
