    Joe Satriani (Official Thread)

Just saw this guy at the hard rock in Orlando. As good as any I have ever seen. A true pro.

Sammy Hagar Says Chickenfoot Headed to the Studio in January.

They rock. I'd buy anything from these guys. Sure would like to see them live. Just saw Joe and he was epic. Playing out of his mind. The whole show including Steve Morse was fantastic.

    Rush (Official Thread)

Blu Ray sounds good and looks great. The CA material shines live. All three in top form.Super players.

    Tuesday Battle: Journey Edition

A greatest hits will not suffice unless you want just the hits. A lot of their rockin tunes are not their most popular. Neal Schon is a bad ass guitar player and most of his best work is not on the radio friendly songs.

Journey -Stone in Love Vs. Brian Adams - Summer of "69"

In the heat with a blue jean girl..............ah yes.

What's the best song on Van Halen "Diver Down"?

Little Guitars for me. Half those tunes are covers.

    Rush (Official Thread)

^^One of the best chorus hooks they have ever written. I hope Alex solo's for a while at the end when they play it live. Certainly one of the songs that makes CA a great album.

    Oh Canada!...Rush v Nickelback

I like the riff in Far Cry and the heaviness. Rush is pretty good.

Ace Frehley has no hard feelings towards KISS

I owe my passion for playing guitar to Ace. It all started with him.

Review Rush - Clockwork Angels (2012)

I'll be in Tampa, Florida on Saturday night November 3rd to witness the best live band I have ever seen.........again. Headlong Flight is one of the very best Rush songs ever written. It will rock live.

The end of Gene Simmons "Family Jewels"

LG, you could listen to three classic Kiss albums in that one hour, lol.

    KISS Solo Albums????

That plan kind of backfired as Ace had a minor hit with New York Groove and was disgruntled with the direction of the music as well. I think Paul's is the best of the four.

Re: Are There Any Martina McBride Fans Here? I saw her with Pat Benatar and thought she was fantastic.

Review Rush - Clockwork Angels (2012)

EVERYONE I've ever played Feedback for has enjoyed it. I think The Clockwork Angels tunes will kick ass live. Again, my only beef with the record is the sound.

    The return of...Rick Springfield

Living In Oz is a strong record. I like a lot of his stuff. It worked out for me as the chicks liked him too.

Review Rush - Clockwork Angels (2012)

My only beef with this record is that I think it could sound better. The drum sound on Snakes and Arrows would have suited this material. I think it's their best album since Moving Pictures. Alex Lifeson has nothing to prove and is more interested in serving the song rather than soloing...

What's your favourite album of 2012 so far?

Rush's Clockwork Angels for me. I do like the new Van Halen record too. It makes me cringe though when I hear Roth butchering their songs live.

Artist You Consider That Are Lyrically Brilliant!!

Neil Peart stands out for me. So much material about so many different things. Factor in his immense talent as a drummer and you have a monster musician as a whole. Elite really.

    Rush (Official Thread)

Playing that bass line while singing The Anarchist will be challenging for Mr. Lee live. One of my favorite tracks from CA. What a great record.

    John Waite VS. Journey

I live in Florida but do not like baking in the sun. Because of this I am super white. I never knew that is why I like Journey so much. I thought it was the kick ass tunes and Neal Schon's guitar work. Glad to have this sorted. John Waite can shove one of his scarfs up his ass.

    The Beatles Were Quitters!!!

Each were in blossoming relationships at the time and growing as people and musicians. There will never be a songwriting team as successful as Lennon and McCartney. Their music is a source of happiness and fond memories for myself and countless others. Simply awesome.

    Choose ONE album only

I regret opening up this thread. Just thinking about choosing only one album has caused me mental duress.

The Who - Album Elimination Game - Round 1

Who's Next. Really fond of the tracks like Love Ain't For Keeping, Gettin In Tune etc. that are not overplayed. Front to back a rock classic.
