    Elton John (Official Thread)

I saw The Captain and the Kid for a good price down at the store the other day, and I read on wikipedia how Elton was disappointed that didn't sell as well as he'd hoped. Well, I liked Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, and I liked the names of the songs for the Captain and the Kid...

    Camel (Official Thread)

Re: Camel Camel are underrated. Just picked up Moonmadness and am really enjoying it. Great sounds and things, and the Spirit of the Water vocal effect reminds me a little of the liquid voice in Genesis' Fountain of Salmacis. :bonk::D

The Alan Parsons Project (Official Thread)

Re: The Alan Parsons Project They're prettty good. I've got "Turn of a Friendly Card" and "The Essential". Very lush orchestration and such. Reminds me of second hand stores, this band for some reason. And there's kind of gloom to them, this focus which I have to be in the mood for. RIP Eric...

    Gong and the Gong family

Very creative group, and some evocative sounds. Some of their more trippier stuff used to give me a headache. Though I haven't heard heaps, and there's lots to hear.
