Really? How so. Conspiracies exist....documented and recorded....to theorise about odd events is reasonably natural. It is only the 'authorities' (gasp) that have worked tirelessly and constantly to assign a negative connotation to the phrase 'conspiracy theory'
The fact is Chapman had no...
Anyone heard of MK Ultra or Monarch? I believe Chapman was a mind control drone tasked to kill Lennon....who is responsible? Well, what was John's message.....peace....love.....google or youtube 'MK Ultra' or check out the following site for insights into occult symbolism in modern music...
It will be strange without him I guess but then he insisted on doing those awful second vocals on the last couple of albums and I won't miss them....I'm quite interested in how Dream Theater will sound without him on the throne.
Re: Iron Maiden headed for #1 in UK and US?
I know...and that fact weighs on me too. I just don't like the three guitars. And I didn't mean they should use tricks for Bruce - he just needs more reverb and a bit more volume too - I don't feel as though Shirley has got the best sound out of...
Re: Iron Maiden headed for #1 in UK and US?
I so wanted to like this album. Kudos to the band for trying a couple of different things but here are the things I think they need to do, and I've felt these things since 'Dance of Death' (Brave New World wasn't so much affected)
1. They need to...
In no particular order;
Tony Banks
Rick Wakeman
Tony Carey
Keith Emerson
Kevin Moore
Rick Wright
Geoff Downes
Richard Barbieri
David Paich
Jonathan Cain
Well Mustaine has always come across as an asshole (as well as having a whiny, shitty singing voice) and Gene Simmons claimed once that if anyone thought that everyone in the band always played their instruments on every track they were dumbasses....and I thought that was pretty poor.
Aren't people nominationg their favourite artists rather than actual singers...I mean Bob Dylan??? :wtf:
My top 5 in no particular order
David Coverdale
Geoff Tate
Bruce Dickinson
Tony Martin
Ronnie James Dio (RIP)
I'll sneak in Jorn Lande seeing as RJD is tits-up.
I see your point - therefore the 90s imparted the shitstain that was grunge....I still am shocked that it is not way out in front! I do think that albums like 'Magica' from DIO and 'Brave New World' are the equal of anything that was done in the 80s....equally I think Halford's 'Resurrection'...
Oh so it has to be bands that formed in the 2000's?? That'll narrow it down A BIT...I thought it was just music, or music style that was released in a certain decade.
I can't believe the 2000s are winning...see some 00's albums listed below, just from my collection!
Black Label Society Stronger than Death 2000
Blaze Silicon Messiah 2000
Bon Jovi Crush 2000...
Thanks! I didn't realise that you weren't allowed to say stuff like 'sucked a bag of dick' here though....bit of a shame. And oh yeah, I though Soundgarden and all the others sucked equally as well.
I voted the 90s....the era of depressing shite and a lot of the bands I love thought they had to cut their hair and grow goatees and shit. To me, Nirvana sucked big time.
