    Obscure Heavy Psych/Heavy Rock/Proto-Metal

For all of those Yes and Black Sabbath. Check out NECROMANDUS. This is a band that fell through the cracks in the early 70s. The only album they released is truly a master piece. Definitely check them out!

    Blues-Rock is still alive.

I have not been on here for a while. But thank you all for the kind comments! I truly appreciate all of your great words. My biggest influences are Free, Necromandus, Zeppelin, then for guitar players Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix. You know, the usual haha. If you're interested in...

    Joe Bonamassa (Official Thread)

Re: Joe Bonamassa I'm a huge Joe B. fan, he is definitely my favorite guitar player that is out there right now. I've seen him 4 times and have the entire discography. Ballad of John Henry and Blues Deluxe are my favorite albums. Absolutely amazing guitar playing. If you get the chance to see...

New music from 17 year old musician

Thank you very much! I do not have any management yet. I know a few people, but I'd definitely like your contact's information. And yes that's me on all of the instruments. Maybe within the next few months I can make a little tour down to the DC area and play with you. That'd be awesome. Here's...

    Hey Everyone

Thanks everyone! But the recent material I haven't gotten too into. It's just like any other band that's been around for such a long time in my opinion. They'll always have good songs, but it just doesn't compare to the music that was flowing in their prime.

    Hey Everyone

How's everyone doing. I'm new to the site. I'm a 17 year old musician from New Jersey and I live on classic rock. My favorite artists right now are Free, Atomic Rooster, Sir Lord Baltimore, Ten Years After... But I like a little bit of everything. Check out my music when you get the chance! I'm...

Best Forgotten Bands of the 70's.

Free, Atomic Rooster, Necromandus, Sir Lord Baltimore.... Some of my favorites. Free is pretty well known, I still think they don't get as much credit as they deserved. But the other three were very obscure, but I think that makes them even cooler at the same time.

2010 bands that sound like 60's 70's Classic Rock??

Check out Stone Axe. They are great, they have a thin lizzy, free, cream vibe going. One of my favorite unsigned bands. STONE AXE on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads STONE AXE - taking you home

New music from 17 year old musician

I am an up and coming blues/rock musician from South Jersey. I'm currently working on a new EP that will be released early this upcoming fall. Until then I have some demos of songs that will be featured on the CD. I'm still working on my voice, but I think the music and songs are coming together...
