Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons Oh What a night (Late December 1963) if you dont like that funky bassline , you may not have a pulse. And could Frankie hit the high notes or what ?
Lonnie Mack . One of the first guitar virtuos. Blending Blues , country , bluegrass , rockabilly , thru his Flying V with Bigsby tremolo .Preceded Clapton and the likes by two or three yrs . A very much overlooked pioneer of rock blues electric guitar

Re: The OFFICIAL Led Zeppelin Thread
there is an atmosphere , a state of mind if you will , that I can only get from Led Zep .Don't know if it's the way it's recorded or the sound of the drums or what . I listen to music from all eras and from all over the world, but Zeppelin is in a separate...

I was floored by some of the drums on the 'Anthology 3' . Particularly GH's "Not Guilty " . Awesome stuff .I love Ringo and anyone who dismisses his playing is clueless as far as I am concerned .
hate to admit it , but I did then and still do dig the stuff that Rick Springfield did . Ya gotta admit he had some cool hooks ( and the cheesy videos on Mtv were just the shi-ite ) . Springfield is as 80's as it gets
