im an absolute hendrix junkie...i buy every commercial release and i own over 90+ live shows on CD and cassette tape and another 20+ CD's/cassettes of bootlegs filled with various studio jams/outtakes...

no doubt i prefer peter greens fleetwood mac...
although i do like some songs from the other incarnates of the band,overall i cant really get with "pop" rock sound of the later lineups...
this entire show is brilliant as jimi's playing is really inspired...
this is his first show since the day before the massacre at kent state, so that probably had something to do with it...
amongst collectors this is widely considered one the true gems and very best shows of jimi's last...

i will post some of my faves later but i didnt have time to go through the whole thread so forgive me if i put up videos that may have already been posted...
i wasnt born until the mid 70's but nazareth was a part of my childhood soundtrack growing up as my uncle would always blast "hair of the dog" at full volume on our road trips camping...
love this group and whenever i listen to them it brings back many happy memories...
