    Fairport Convention

Dave Pegg's son Mathew played bass and toured with Tull as well. If I recall it was in the early 90s while his father was on a reunion tour with Fairport Convention.

    Bob Dylan (Official Thread)

Re: Bob Dylan Dylan is great. I met him along with The Band when they played Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens in the mid 1970's. Dylan sounds better in concert than he is does on record. Blonde On Blonde, John Wesley Harding, Blood on The Tracks, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, The Times They Are...

    Jethro Tull (Official Thread)

Re: Jethro Tull To what "botch job" are you referring? When LITP was released in 1972 on vinyl, there were at least four, maybe five, different pressings of this album. Each one contained a different track list. Some albums contained 20 tracks, some 22 and some 19. The US and UK releases...

    Mike Oldfield's Celtic album "Crises"

As odd as this might seem, Mike Oldfield, of Tubular Bells fame, recorded a fine record in 1983, or there abouts called, "Crises". It has a celtic sound and vocalist Maggie Riley is well worth the price of admission on a track titled, "Moonlight Shadow". First rate! Well worth tracking down.

    Jethro Tull (Official Thread)

Re: Jethro Tull This is a fine Tull album. The MITG tour was one of their best, IMO. The track, "One White Duck/0=Nothing at All" is Anderson at his acoustic guitar playing best.

    Jethro Tull (Official Thread)

Re: Jethro Tull The reissue of Tull's material would need to go though Anderson. He owns the entire Jethro Tull catalog. Any changes would indeed require his permission. Anderson looks after ALL the remastering, personally.
