    Renaissance with Annie Haslam

    My all time favorite groups of the 70's was Renaissance with Annie Haslam. Their Live from Carnegie Hall was mind blowing. Annie reformed Renaissance about 10 years ago and they remain active today with a whole new lineup.

    Fairport Convention

    Fairport Convention's Liege and Leaf was really a groundbreaking album. I remember playing THE BALLAD OF MATTY GROVES so many times I wore the vinyl out. It set me on a course of a lifetime of loving and collecting English traditional folk-rock music.

    There were hundreds if not thousands of these guys on Sunset in the 80's, very few of them ever made it. Interesting period though. Funny how much it changed.
