I'd say it is some kind of classic-rock style. Fairly bluesy. I'm sure it was an American band if that helps. It was like a light cartoonish style painting. I will try to find a song that shares a similar vibe to it.- Methargica

I'm in desperate search for an album
It is an album I've heard ~5 years ago and I have absolutely no recollection of the band or album name - only a fair idea of how the album cover looks and a some memory of how it sounds. It is definitely from the 70s or 80s. The album cover is of an airplane taking off from an airport runway...- Methargica
