    - Joe Walsh (1970's) Eric Clapton (1970's, Joe Walsh fronted, and Pete Townshed played with Eric) Jethro Tull (1970's, this was real suprise) Allman Brothers (just after Duane Allman died) close but not their; Johnny Winter (Edgar Winter was their, more rock than blues)

    Re: Jimmy Hendrix Letter to his father Good point. I don't know why "David Brooks", went bockers on this. The music Jimmy Hendrix; sounded great, and was very tight and solid. How many people can play the "Star Spangled Banner", on an electric guitar and make it work. Very very very few.

    Joe Walsh was part of this. He does a song with "James Taylor". He does, two songs on DVD-2; Funk-49 and Rocky Mountain Way Joe Walsh, is fun, happening, and looks great !!!!
