I understand . . . I buy Santana to HEAR Carlos play. It was a bit lengthy at almost 75 minutes, but I could hear their enjoyment of being and playing together again. Karl and Benny were good additions to round out their sound.
Just under the wire on this one: Labor Day weekend 1969 - Texas International Pop Festival. I was 18 and this was my "Woodstock". Three day pass was $18 bucks . . . what a deal!! Didn't miss an act....at least I don't think so :pullhair: Grand Funk Railroad was there too.
