Cover Versions : love 'em or hate 'em...
The first cover song that comes to mind for me is "Dreams I'll Never See" by Molly Hatchett. Not that I don't like the song that inspired it (Dreams) by the Allman Brothers Band. I love both for different reasons, but Hatchett just kicked ass on this song! One of the best cover songs of all...- Speed King

Black Sabbath: Vol. 4 or Sabotage?
Love Sabotage, but Sabbath Vol. 4 was my first Sabbath album. I think the guitar tones are better on Vol. 4. Iommi changed his tone for Sabotage, too much gain/drive, sounds way too processed for my liking, love the songs, just not crazy about the tone change.- Speed King

Deep Purple VS Pink Floyd
I agree with all who said this is an apples to oranges comparison. The Floyd were masters of sound-scaping, Deep Purple were masters at creating balls out hard rock.
