    Just saw Saxon / UFO in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago (March 11, 2017). Great show despite the fact the venue sucked. They played at Alamo City Music Hall.     I don't know about that. I saw them with Bon Scott in 1979 in a relatively small venue and MY ears rang for two days straight. I was 16 and that was 37 years ago and the guy is still going. He must use some kind of protection?

    Shango and Zebop are two my favorites. They came out in the early 80's right around the time I graduated from H.S. I was really into Santana at that point. Of course I also enjoy his debut album and Abraxas as well.. Moonflower was another good one.

    No Texas dates that I can see which is a bummer for me. Not that I'd be willing to shell out big bucks for it anyway. I've seen both the Ozzy and Dio versions of the band so I'll settle for that.

    Bands that suck at performing live

    For me it was Van Halen in 1982. Worst performance ever. They were wasted as it was David Lee Roth's birthday. They couldn't even finish a song and would stop in the middle of it. They would blab and then blab some more. Then start to play again. This went on all night. First and last time for me.
