Interesting question. In my view, Motorhead are so highly regarded because they have always stuck to a simple formula: hard, driving rock n roll turned up to 11! No dilution, no compromise. Rory Gallagher vs Gary Moore
Hmm, not sure I'd agree with that? The influences on both musician's electric playing seem about the same to me, but Rory did a lot of styles on acoustic guitar as well, which took him to some places Gary never went.- Porch Monkey

Iron Maiden: Killers vs Number of the Beast

Led Zeppelin VS Deep Purple
Tough one, but Led Zep for me overall, although certain DP tracks I rate possibly higher than anything the Zep did.
