I am not sure to be honest?. I did buy some 1970s & 1980s UFO and some later cds from the late 1990s and possibly a Mogg/Way cd years ago and I especially link the time when Tower Records was at Piccadilly circus in the heart of London back around 1995-2000 before they not long after that closed...- E-Z

The Best Prog Rock Song of Each Year Since 1969
I can't do every year but the really only 'progressive rock band' that I rate was the Dutch band from the 'land of tulips' FOCUS back in the early/mid 1970s although a couple of the guys reformed with two newer guys and they are still going these days anyway for 'progressive rock heaven' try out...- E-Z

Ten Best Rock Albums Of All Time
Not bad 70s Guy but I would change Sabbath's The Mob Rules to Heaven And Hell and also Bon Jovi's New Jersey to Slippery When Wet and 'maybe' Deep Purple's In Rock to Machine Head. On Aerosmith's Live Bootleg it has a song on it towards the end that I don't like and it's maybe a 'reggae song'...- E-Z

Seattle eh?. At least you can visit the grave of JIMI HENDRIX I believe the Hendrix family may have built a large memorial over his grave in recent years??. Personally I preferred the simpler flat stone with an engraved Stratocaster in the stone plus his name JIMI HENDRIX and date 1942-1970 ;)- E-Z

Overkill (Official Thread)
I once had a OVERKILL dvd about 10-12 years ago and apart from the vocalist the other main guy in the band appears to the bass player (is it DD?) and I recall him saying he only likes listening to 'extreme heavy music' which is the only thing that I can recall from watching the entire dvd?. -

With regards to SLADE in particular personally the only studio album that I like is called PLAY IT LOUD and was the bands 2nd studio album released in the UK in late 1970 when the band were in 'transition' from being a bunch of 'skinheads' (being skinheads was a publicity stunt suggested to them...- E-Z

first album you bought??
The very first album I bought was back in 1972 SLADE ALIVE aged 15 years old and SLADE were VERY BIG in the UK at that time releasing a run of top 10 singles between about 1971-1974 after which they went to the USA between 1975-1977 and returned home and then couldn't even get arrested!!. A...- E-Z

I only ever heard a few YES album/cds in my lifetime cos I am more of a blues/rocker anyway I can see why YES fans liked the album 'Going For The One' from 1977 although I kinda like the Drama album from 1980 with the two ex-Buggles guys in Geoff Downes on keys and Trevor Horn on bass & vocals...- E-Z

Yeah that's the one that I bought back in the 1990s and overall it's not a bad listen although the boyz didn't cover a couple of Rainbow numbers that I would have also liked which may have been STARGAZER & ALL NIGHT LONG but overall it wasn't too bad an effort. -
