Humanoid takes a bit to get going, but it does end up being pretty good. It's just with Wolf Hoffman being the only musician left in the band, it's just missing...something.
1981 is my all time favorite year of music, but none of my Top 5 is represented in the poll.

I love Ace's album, and would say I find it latently progressive. But I gotta be honest...I've listened to Paul's album more over the course of time.
I got to see his 1989 solo tour, and it was so great to hear him play some of these songs live.
To me, it's definitely Strangers. My main issue with L&D is that it sounds really touched up. The production on the not played songs on Strangers (Mather Mary and This Kids) sound so much actually more live than Southbound.

Believe it or not, twice in the span of 8 weeks in late 1988, KD came to Providence on the Them tour. I left both shows after the opening bands (Armored Saint...and for the other show it was Flotsam & Jetsam).
I simply was not into his shtick at all. The face paint, the voice, the whole vibe...
Wow, that Vandor is NICE!!! Never heard of them. Nothing groundbreaking but all class. 9/10
Sounds like a hyped up Mike DiMeo Era Riot track. Speaking of which..
