I had never heard of Billy Nichols and I'm an old guy....but big fan of Small Faces and had some 45;s by Shannon also. Never really got into Eagles but fan of the Byrds, Yardbirds, Doors, Animals, Cream and Dire Straits.... though while I love Knopflers guitar playing some of their songs didnt...- dr wu

Well they r wrong..it came out 1988 and is listed both on Prog Archives and wiki then and their debut lp came out 1980. I have been aware of them for some time but never really explored their music before. I used to say they sounded like XTC on acid. ;) What did you think of the music...? Just...- dr wu

An interesting band ....havent heard their name in years....I recall Kimono My House and Propaganda...both are decent lps if one likes quirky avant art/pop rock with a touch of prog. Hmmm... doesn't sound that sloppy to me but its live and he's an electric player primarily (and who knows what shape he was in) and I never thought he was that good to begin with on acoustic. Not defending Page btw becuase he has been known to be a bit sloppy in those days. :think:- dr wu
