John Prine - My Old Kentucky Home, Goodnight (Official Video)

He's one of those guys that the well spring just seems to run directly into. It's like the way Gregg Allman could sing blues and sound 100% legit. JP is like that with country/folk.

Bruce Springsteen’s Western Stars, New Studio Album

I officially find the "solo" Bruce more interesting than the stuff with the E Street band. All the way back to Nebraska.

    Woodstock Organizers Cancel 50th Anniversary

It's interesting to note that Bethel Woods, the site of the original Woodstock festival is not having the anniversary. Which is because IMO they are the least Woodstock type of place I have ever seen. It's a Woodstock branded shameless money grab. $12 beers, you can't bring a lawn chair but you...

Why is Stevie Nicks more appreciated than Christine McVie?

Back in the 70's every boy in his late teens wanted to take Stevie Nicks away to live in the mountains forever making sweet sweet love. Some call it romantic. Others would call it kidnapping. Splitting hairs really.

MOLLY HATCHET Singer PHIL MCCORMACK Dies

RIP Will the band carry on? I'm betting yes. They have a history of overcoming tragedy. And I'm sure the departed would not wish for the music to die as well. Head is bowed.

These Dreams or Dreams I'll Never See

I'll take Molly Hatchet but ideally I'd rather have the original version by the Allman Brothers. Gregg hated the Molly Hatchet version. I don't hate it but I like the original a bit better. Just to complicate matters.

The song stuck in your head thread!

I had Zappa stuck in my head the other day. I love Zappa but not stuck in my head. "Watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow".

    Feeling The Blues...

I'd pick Clapton given those 2. Although IMO Gary Moore has been known to shine brighter IMO. For instance, he's on fire with The Blues Breakers here... His solo starting around 5:30 is off the hook
