LOS LOBOS, Keswick Theatre PA, Sept 30, 2012, doing the 20th anniversary tour of KIKO, one of the absolute killer albums of
that decade. Lobos always BOSS-- Great performance and a plus+plus recording...
Great on the Strawbs--I was lucky enuf to see them tour this lp--big kudos @Telegraph Rd;
Nice Stones couplet, kudos on John Lee and the Future Games is incredible @Frands;
Wot the heck, my favorite Floyd lp--big kudos Black Dahlia; Marley can do no wrong-great stuff, TYA and the early Strawbs...
I have probably not listened to this in well over
five yrs, maybe ten... startled at how LOU it is.
Love the twangy and astro guitar licks on this too; the original rapper is laying it down thick--big statements here. Reminds me a little of Leonard Cohen's 'The Future' and Paul Simon's...
Such a great great record and the unheralded
guitarist, Paul Barrere really plays great here
along with Bill Payne on keyboards, synths and
everything else ivory.
Cool to see the Lighthouse, and Allmans always great @recgord27, nice on the Steely Dan and Wishbone Ash @joe; Zap's Grand Wazoo (love that record) and Van der Graf Generator--kudos to @Telegraph Rd; Be Bop Deluxe, Humble Pie (great live record) great stuff @bbif; very cool to see the Captain...

amp, but my Marantz has been good (warm tone and musical); had a Thorens table a long time ago--great equipment. Jamos look good but unfamiliar with them (most anything by Klipsch is great tho'); the dimensions of the Jamos remind me of a pair of...
Cool record, brilliant artist... reminds me a bit of Bill Nelson in his late 70's heyday.
Among many terrific musicians, are Holger Czukay of Can, and Kenny Wheeler
on fluglehorn. These guys are absolutely top notch at what they do.

Nice one... my freshman year of Higher Ed U
my roommate turned me on to the first two
WA lps just before Argus came out. He was
a Fla boy and up to speed with the hip, trip
and flip, way ahead of me. LOL
One of my cherished go to lps while browsing
higher education; fixated on the whole family
tree of Walsh, Barnstorm, Stephen Stills who shared many of the same players as Walsh,
who also played on the second Manassas
record with Stills. Crosby and Nash were
putting out some good solo albums at...
Neil's band did him proud with a solid solo (1971); w/ Nils Lofgren, Danny Whitten,
joined by Ry Cooder and Jack Nitzsche
who produced and adds piano...
