    I haven't heard this in ages !

I'm really pleased to see that someone else in here rates this band (and album). I saw them many times back in the 1970s; very underrated and certainly deserved far more success than they ever achieved. I have all of their albums on vinyl, together with a few singles, and also the CD release of...

Nick Mason Forms Supergroup to Play Early Pink Floyd Music

I have a ticket to see Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets at Nottingham on 28th April - 3 weeks away. I seriously cannot wait! :nana:

Now, my posting all of those images will mean rock all to the US members of this forum as this is the US release of the album, one which they will be well accustomed to. But what you have to understand is that here in the UK we've only ever had a single sleeve version of this 1975 prog-rock gem...

    Yes (Official Thread)

I have tickets to see Yes on their 2022 tour. I say "Yes" but without Squire, Anderson and Wakeman it's really not much more than a tribute band. Controversial opinion, I know... Anyway... I'm thrilled to learn today that the decision has been made to scrap the 'Relayer' album tour and replace...

Another compilation, but some good stuff on here including my favourite, the lovely 'Show of Our Lives' (which has been lifted from the splendidly titled 'Cunning Stunts' album)

Never heard this. Seen it online, but never heard it. Any good? Is it on YouTube? Edit I take it back - I have heard it! I had the deluxe 'Billion $ Babies' CD pack and this was the second disc. Might still try to find it though.

Now this one might spark a bit of discussion... I'm a long-time fan of ELP but I had never heard this album, being wary of the reputation that it has. Having skipped this I did buy 'In The Hot Seat' and 'Black Moon' on CD back in the 90s and I have to say that I really quite like them, even...

I'm intrigued... I have my records stored in a very similar way. Do you have them in plastic protective sleeves? Or do you just stack them on the shelves "as is"? I always wonder whether I'm spending extra £££s on unnecessary plastic sleeves. And what do others think?

OK, GTR... I've given it a listen and I think that I have decided why it is that I don't like it... The vocals. Musically it's fine, but the vocals are just so thin and tinny. Not for me, I'm afraid.

Vinyl and a bit crackly in places, but some easy "Poor Man's Moody Blues" going on here. ;)

I have this vinyl and have never really liked it. I know that I should love it given its pedigree, but I simply can't get on with it. You know what? I'm going to try it again in a few minutes when my current LP finishes.

Yes, I know that it's a compilation, but there's some darned good stuff on here - Yes, Asia, ELP, Sabbath, Rush, Whitesnake, Purple, Free, Maiden, Genesis, Foreigner, Starship, Rainbow and Mike + The Mechanics.
