    Censored songs

You'll not be hearing the original versions of Elvis Costello's 'Oliver's Army' or The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl's 'Fairytale of New York' any time soon either. Sad times.

ALICE COOPER - 'Constrictor' This album and period in Alice's career gets lots of criticism, but it's not a bad album - nowhere near as poor as 'Flush The Fashion' or 'Zipper Catches Skin'. In fact some of his later stuff such as 'Special Forces', 'Along Came A Spider', 'The Eyes of...' are...

I was led to believe that they were prog-rock, which they aren't. I just really didn't like the stuff on that album (which I traded in).

THE RUMOUR - 'Max' Always liked Graham Parker & The Rumour and this is just simply a GP&R album without GP! Interesting fact... The album was named in response to Fleetwood Mac having a massive-selling album called 'Rumours'.

10cc is one of the most fun bands I've ever heard and their story is interesting too

'Sheet Music' is still one of my favourite albums and it gets regular airings. Some great tunes on there, the best being 'Somewhere In Hollywood'. Great band. In recent years Lol Creme worked with Trevor Horn in PRODUCERS to make the great album 'Basing Street' Well worth a listen.

    Favourite trio bands

Emerson, Lake and Palmer Absolute prog giants! Other favourites were, in no particular order... Refugee Strife Budgie The Police Rush (already mentioned)

STATUS QUO - 'Piledriver' Still their best (in my humble opinion) and contains the first 7" single that I ever bought, 'Paper Plane'.
