    Gino Vannelli (Official Thread)

I have to give mention to Storm at Sunup and Gist of the Gemini. Two of my fave Gino listens. The War Suite form Gist is especially well done (side two of the lp). Gotta love Jay Graydon on guitar! My first Vannelli record that I bought was Powerful People. I liked all the keyboard work...

    Sky (Official Thread)

I was lucky enought to pick up their first four cds at a Camelot records store for a couple of bucks each. Their fourth release, Fourthcoming, was a double cd, too! Classic Classical Rock or Classical Classic Rock?? These are all excellent and highly recommended...Trans-Siberian Who? dave

    War (Official Thread)

What a grooovy band...once they get into a groove, they just don't let it go. The World is a Ghetto is start to finish...must listen all the way through...crank it up...essential for me. I've got Eric Burdon Declares War, but I wasn't too impressed with it. dave

Scorpions - 70's Edition (Official Thread)

I love the Uli Jon era Scorpions (not that Matthias is any slouch on the guitar). His style is so unique. They can be in your face one minute (Sails of Charon) and smooth as an evening breeze (Born to Touch Your Feelings) then next. Their first lp that I bought was Taken by Force, but I’d...

    Starz (Official Thread)

I like Starz as well as Angel, but I never thought of them as being connected. The keyboard element in Angel kind of distances them from each other, to me. They were both active around the same time. I guess each band's connection with Kiss (label/management) may be a tie that binds. dave
