Re: Entombed
Yup, that one and To ride, shoot straight. I also like Uprising a lot, has some good stuff on it. And their recent albums are a bit of a return to form.
Check out live stuff if you can, I've never seen a dvd with them. YouTube's got some cool clips though.

Clandestine is the better album but both are great. They went on to death'n'roll on subsequent albums. Nicke went on to form Hellacopters and the band went through ups and downs in the 00's.
Just saw them again this year - great, great show. Oh boy do the deliver the goods live! :D
If Lou had done it all by himself it would have been stellar, no doubt. Metallica didn't kill it but they didn't add to it like Lou's regular band would've, imo. But I still think Lulu is ok.
As far as I know they stuck to a fairly regular rhythm group of, eh, live bass player and drummer. They probably used machines here and there but not a lot.

I'm expecting the vinyl is in Santa's bag so... I'll let you know fer sure when I've revisited it :D But...
Hey
Lately I've been thinking of stopping by again - it has indeed been too long. Not sure if it's 'hey to stay' or it's just 'hey' but at the very least I wanted to let you know that I often miss the music discussion on here. And the crf-crowd! :bonk: It just doesn't get geeky enough on fb :wa...
