Don't get me wrong, I'm not what you'd call overly PC about such things. And I certainly never assumed Axl Rose to be a card-carrying bigot of any stripe. (Otherwise, how could I be a fan?) But even allowing for context and lyrical play-acting, it still sort of leaves a bad taste in the mouth...
