Billy Joel has such a wide range of songs which span the 70's to the early 90's that it's hard to choose just one. However, it always amazes me that those stations who dub themselves classic rock always narrow the songs the play just down to a select few. Piano Man, Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, Big Shot, Movin' Out, Only The Good Die Young.
Anyway, I narrowed it down to two:
Stiletto
Pressure
Honorable mention would have gone to The Stranger and It's Still Rock and Roll to Me.
I love all his work, so it’s hard to pick one, and my view changes a lot, but I keep coming back to Zanzibar, from 52nd Street. A perfect blend of jazz and rock.
