Bought it Rory's last studio album when it was first released on vinyl around April 1990 and subsequently bought it on cd.Blowing some cobwebs off this **** world...loudly !!
My early first impression of this record was one of disappointment after listening to Top Priority from 1979 and Defender from 1987 BUT!.
Subsequently since the 1990s I can honestly say it has become my all time favourite Gallagher album end of story.
Kid Gloves is a great album opener and it just gets better all the way through to the last track on the cd version of the album which is one of two bonus tracks. Rory demonstrates different types of blues from blues/rock and cajun through to country blues and everything in between great stuff.
