Never liked either song much to be honest.

Free Bird is over blown the band recorded many better songs in my opinion and as for Hotel California never got why this song was so popular?.

If pushed probably Free Bird.

Now if it had been between Free Bird and Last Train To Clarksville by the Monkees then The Monkees!!.

No vote from me on this one, as I officially hate both songs from the get-go, nevermind their overplayed status.

I vote for "Daydream Believer" by The Monkees!
That song holds alot of weight for me too.. And Valarie. by them..:D

I always liked this one, one of there lesser known songs written by Michael Nesmith. I did not know this until this moment Nesmith co-wrote this song with Carole King and Gerry Goffin.

The Monkeys SUCK and I general wouldn’t vote for The Eagles over Skynyrd but this is one of the few great Eagles songs vs the played to death Freebird ..

Sorry rock dudes but I have drastically changed my mind about The Eagles as a band and Hotel California as a album.

Quite possibly The Eagles were America's GREATEST rock band of all time period or end of story.

I bought a dvd that features The Eagles in live concert in northern Europe from 1973 and on the Don Kirshner's tv show in October 1974 and after watching it 20 times it blew my mind dudes!!. Bernie Leadon what a guitar picker and as for Don Felder he was to much you blew my mind dude!!.

I just wanna say I love American rock bands from the 1970s and that goes for Boston and Grand Funk Railroad along with Montrose and not forgetting Mountain and Johnny Winter.

To my American cousins if your over in London look me up we're go drinking ago dudes.
