Very touching lyrics HA...had to check who the lady singer was...excellent . Missed this one for the 14th, 8/10.

(This man always seemed to epitomise peace...and fair play to him adopting Brian Jones's Son too.)

Even though a lot of this 50s music sounds the same, I can't help but like it. 7.3/10

H A.. i enjoy this thread and all contributors choices. The excellence of Cole Porter is just ingrained in popular culture. Very enjoyable, 8/10.

It was a toss up between Gilbert & Sullivan or this: this B3 jam out won.

The organ would probably sound a lot better if I wasn't on my laptop right now. Nevertheless, a good jam to have playing in the background. 6.5/10

Nice cocktail music. His choice of progressions is interesting as the song doesn't always go where you think it will. 7/10

I think everyone knows the Marty Robbins song, "El Paso." But did you know he did 2 other songs in that series, each giving a different perspective of what happened to the cowboy? Here is one of the others...
