This album..sadly was poxed from the start- amidst rows and fall outs.
I saw them on this Tour...Masquerade was so clever.
Buggles man Trev suprised all..even me..and the old Tomata is always knocking about here.
Regarding this- not Rabin's best- 6/10.

Now the ZZ's are one on their own...all that fuzz, torque and attitude!
8/10.
This takes me back to shit streets, squalor and the Rentman!

When you hear this- you can see why Rory was considered as a replacement for Mick Taylor...however this Donegal man was on his own!...10/10.

Very nice prog-composition. Great piano, great sax, great melodism, and Winwood singin' so good. Really pleasant voice. Awesome. :good 9/10.

Knew it had to be Randy Bachman on vocals even before I looked them up! :D Never heard of this particular outfit before, though. Perhaps I should have! Really hits the spot for me today, so... 9/10

(I kind of thought you were a little hard on that Yes track, however. Hey, I'm certainly not denying that Union was a debacle. But if I may play devil's advocate, I think the Rabin lineup's tracks hold up a lot better than the ABWH numbers. The reason for this, of course, is that they were probably far less interfered with than the ABWH tracks. The ABWH tracks, on the other hand, were the victim of so much futzing about with the addition of additional studio musicians, and you can absolutely tell that there was a decision made at a corporate level to push those tracks into sounding more like the Rabin lineup! Just listen to the original demo version of Dangerous and then the album version, and you'll see what I mean! Now, Miracle Of Life, on the other hand... One of my all-time favorite Yes "deep cuts"! Rises quite elegantly above the morass of the rest of Union, IMHO...)

Hate to state the obvious but it sure sounds a lot like Joe Lynn Turner era Rainbow. Not that that's a bad thing. Pretty generic metal though.

7/10
