This Liverpudlian band were great...but seemed to dip fairly quick. Crow was a fine single..'75 time.
This occupied my turntable somewhat.
Nasty Pop - Lonely King.

This fine Afro/Prog band did the Uni's up and down Britain- and performed brilliantly, but despite the most inviting Roger Dean artwork on their albums. They failed...sadly to hit the big time. This and Flying Bird were particular faves.
Osibisa -Woyaya.

This is for the small group of 1970s rock dudes in 'the know' about a good rock band that hasn't had any mention on this forum so far.

MARMALADE a Scottish 5-piece that started out in the mid-1960s and lasted maybe until the present day in some form or other(?) anyway their 'best years' were probably the late 1960s going into the early 1970s where they had some commercial success in the UK singles chart as well as releasing a number of solid rock albums in that time. The bands line up changed a couple of times but not to often as some bands line ups change over several years. A couple of hit singles in the UK for the band were-

Cousin Norman from 1971, Radancer from 1972 & Jody from 1972 (not sure if the band released Jody as a 45rpm single but it's a catchy song although it mite have just been a demo track only according to the cd?)
