I'm listening to Stray just about my time favourite band, a close second to Budgie.
We are off to see Stray tonight at the Greystones Sheffield. I've travelled 150 miles for this one
Del Bromham and the lads never give less than 100%.
It's been a few years since we saw them at the Boardwalk in Sheffield. That night, the headliner Tony mcphee wouldn't go on last after being blown away the previous night so stray went on last and they were outstanding.
They've had some rough nights in Sheffield in the past but that night the crowd were on their side.
If you're into classic Rock and don't know stray then do yourselves a favour and, if you're around Sheffield pop along to the greystones. There's a load of great beers as well.
Our first stray gig was in 81 at St Albans Town Hall when they supported budgie. Not many memories of that one. Wonder why!!!
Stray. How didn't they make it.
Or maybe they did but not many people know about it.
