First became aware of Bev in a Moody Blues documentary I had on DVD.You can watch "History of the Moody Blues" on YouTube.Mr.Bevan was terrifically insightful in analyzing the entire Birmingham pop scene of the 60's.I understand he was once with Black Sabbath though he hardly seems to fit the mindset of the average Heavy Metal player...rather conservative, that is...……………..

Way before i'd heard of The Idle Race..i dug The Move as a young lad..living next to two greasers..Brontosaurus or Blackberry Way was being blasted from their Garrard..fast forward five years i passed a junk shop and spied two albums- one was Mass in F Minor by The Electric Prunes...and this gem:
Message From The Country on Harvest!..still have them too.
Words Of Aaron- The Move.

Yeah I remember hearing both Blackberry Way & Firebrigade a lot on the then newly created BBC radio 1 back in 1967 & 1968 plus also I liked there other singles like Chinatown, Tonight, Do Ya & California Man from around 1970-71 and in fact I still listen to them occasionally and still like them all.

Roy Wood still looks amazenly like he did back back in the late 1960s??.

Thank you Ar-Pharazon..i try not to use Sir Google and trust to memory. Did Jeff Lynne fall out with Roy Wood i wonder?
That period from '69-'71 saw lots of acts fall off the end of the world so to speak.
Maybe they could'nt make the stride to seventies (ism). Certainly Manfred Mann's last album was wierd- and the Earth Band was a natural progression..Quo stepped up quite naturally i thought. Thanks for the info ..appreciated.
