The Brighton scene was excellent from '77 - '79 i recall after a Rock Against Racism Benefit gig with The Clash..i bummed the 52 miles south to see these in a boozer.

This band in particular remind me of carefree times..sticking your head in a bass bin at night- laying in bed -all day.

Certain labels around this time..hosted great bands and some good Scottish ones too. Gang Of Four were basic and raw..not arty and full of pretend punk.
