Hard to say because I've heard many almost unknown or second division rock vocalists in particular fronting maybe unknown or sometimes named heavy rock/metal bands over the last 25-30 years and you think to yourself 'wow this guy has a great voice' but you mite never hear of the dude again??.

The lands of Marshall Stack.
I agree...on another thread there is a Guitarist thread..no way was Pat Travers underrated..he was flippin' brilliant.
Tony McPhee..i saw him playing in a pub..few years ago..he didn't mind.
Luck and talent don't always go hand in hand..think your mate Jimi Hendrix though...was a lifetimes one off!!!!

Pat Travers yeah I like him especially when he had Pat Thrall on second guitar on that live album called Go For What You Know those two are burning up!!.
Tony T.S. McPhee of the Groundhogs yeah I also saw him twice live playing pub gigs one in Finsbury Park in north London back in 1987 or 88 and the second time again in north London at the Dublin Castle in Camden Town in 1991 or 92 and the guy was on fire with fretboard fireworks only about 6 feet away from me!!.
