Personally I preferred and still do prefer the band that Arthur Lee formed immediately after the Forever Changes era and band line up that featured Jay Donnellan guitar (replaced later by Gary Rowels after the FOUR SALE album) Frank Fayad bass & George Suranovich drums those guy's appeared on (LOVE) FOUR SALE (1969) OUT HERE (1969) & FALSE START (1970). To me those three albums were more late 1960s/early 1970s 'rock oriented' albums which I liked better than what had been before with Bryan Maclean & Love.
"My dozen or so LOVE cds are amongst my favourite cds in my vast collection."
