That is sooo hard to pick just one song from the Who's Next album because the whole album contains virtually all of the Who's best songs from the mid/late 1960s and probably the 1970s as well although I also like songs off Tommy, Quadrophenia and the title song Who Are You from the same album also.

Won't Get Fooled Again cos it doesn't let up from start to finish but I have a liking for both the live versions of Naked Eye & Water plus the album versions of Bargain & I Don't Even Know Myself and in fact every track on the album is a favourite of mine.

As Roger Daltrey said on the Making Of A Classic Album series back in the late 1990s regarding Who's Next-

"It was the best album we ever made."

Getting In Tune. I'm listening to it on my MP3 player as I write this post.

I've got it all here in my head
There's nothing more needs to be said
I'm just bangin' on my old piano

One of the few absolutely perfect rock albums. Won't Get Fooled Again just may be rock's greatest anthem, and arguably the greatest live set closer that a band ever had.

Yeah you could well be right with your observation regarding Won't Get Fooled Again being a great set closer. Van Halen use to include it in there sets in the early 1990s which is included on there live album from that era but as good as Van Halen's version of the song was it didn't surpass the original (in my humble opinion).

The UK single version of Won't Get Fooled Again released in 1971 was one of the very first 45rpm vinyl singles that I ever bought as a 14 year old with the B side being I Don't Even Know Myself which I vaguely recall playing along with Won't Get Fooled Again which was obviously on the A side.
